THE FOUNDER

“As a young girl growing up in Westchester, New York, I was painfully aware of my flat chest. The teasing from boys in middle school left me in tears more times than I can count. My mother, who faced similar struggles, would sew padding into my bras just as my great-grandmother had done for her. These early experiences planted the seeds for my search for confidence and self-acceptance.”

THE PROCESS

“At 18, I saved up for a breast augmentation, convinced that implants would give me the confidence I needed. For 15 years, I loved my implants and the confidence they provided.
However, as time passed, I began experiencing health issues that I could no longer ignore. The decision to explant was not easy, but I chose my health over aesthetics and never looked back.” -Jennifer Stano

Original Self, also known as OGSLF, was born from my personal journey and a deep understanding of the need for confidence without compromising your health. My decision to undergo explant surgery in 2019 highlighted a gap in the market for products catering to women with similar struggles.
